"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. As someone who works in customer service and is also part of the beauty and wellness industry, I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and care shown throughout my visit. My friend and I came in for a simple manicure and removal of our previous nail work, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt like a problem. There was absolutely no effort to make us feel welcomed or comfortable. No one asked basic questions about our preferences, allergies, or what we were hoping to achieve with our service. The staff showed no genuine interest in our well-being or overall experience. Not once were we offered water, tea, or any of the small touches you would expect from a nail spa located in Times Square and marketed as a premium establishment. To make matters worse, I was charged an additional $10 for a “quick-dry” polish that was poorly applied and of extremely low quality. By the end of the appointment, both my friend and I were so disappointed that she decided to remove her polish entirely because we simply did not want to spend another minute in such an uncomfortable environment. The pricing was also extremely inconsistent and concerning. I was initially told it would cost $35 to remove my previous nail work, even though I only had product remaining on about six nails. After questioning the charge, the price suddenly dropped to $20. Shortly afterward, I was offered a complimentary back massage that I never requested, which felt more like an attempt to compensate for the poor experience than genuine hospitality. Overall, the service lacked professionalism, transparency, and basic customer care. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated, undervalued, and disappointed. I cannot recommend this salon and would not return."

"I’ve been coming to QQ Nails for over a year since starting a job in the neighborhood and it is always a very pleasant experience. They are always so kind and professional and always do a wonderful job on my nails. I’m very particular about the shape and they make them perfect every time. I don’t go to any other salon because I know I’m getting the best at QQ. They never chip either! Erica did my nails today and I’m obsessed. I tried hard gel this time and it is def worth it. Looking forward to coming back in a few weeks! :)"

"My nail tech was Joy, but she was anything but that. She was super unfriendly. I came in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure with already previous gel on both my feet and hands. Joy had a tough time removing the gel on my nails and kept huffing and puffing and saying something under her breath and also talking to the other techs and pointing at my nails. The experience was super uncomfortable considering I couldn't understand what they were saying. At some point, another tech came in and they were discussing my nails again. I looked at her and she said, your nails are so long. Throughout my manicure, Joy mentioned a few times if I wanted to cut my nails, even though I kept saying I wanna keep the length. The manicure turned out to be a disappointment. I'm attaching the photos below. The nails came out uneven with some looking square and other looking square/oval. The gel itself is uneven with bumps all over. All in all, this was a disappointing experience and I won't be back to this location or any QQ Nails location. Both the service and the end results were subpar, to say the least. To top it all off, when I left the salon and checked the receipt, which I had to ask for, I noticed that I was also charged for a 10-minute massage, which Joy told me was included in the treatment. I had to come back and get my charge fixed."
